About The Shanid Inn

Our History

Founded in 1935, The Shanid Inn has been a staple in the Limerick community for over 85 years. Named after the Shanid Castle, located only a few km away. Recently under new management in 2022, the pub has had a very successful year! Our pub has a rich history and has been a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. We are proud to continue this tradition and provide a welcoming atmosphere for all.

We believe that music is an important part of any pub experience. That's why we host live music performances! We feature a variety of local musicians and bands, playing everything from classic rock to blues and jazz.
